TAME IMPALA SOUND SYSTEM TO DEBUT IN MARCH

Exciting things are in the works for Tame Impala. Between their nomination for the Australian Music Prize and the upcoming debut live performance of Tame Impala Sound System, fans have much to look forward to.
Tame Impala Sound System is the headliner for SNACK Weekender at Metro City in Perth on March 5th and 6th. Frontman Kevin Parker shared a video over Twitter of the group practicing with a series of synths, further fueling excitement for the live performance.
He writes "Wielding their overflowing arsenal of synths, sequencer, and samplers to rework and reimagine tracks from the Tame Impala discography and beyond - Tame Impala Sound System is pulsating fully live and organic free-flowing digital jam out."
The idea for Tame Impala Sound System originated after Tame Impala's canceled tour lead to online jam-outs with analog technology. If you're curious about seeing Tame Impala Sound System perform, they can be found on NPR's tiny desk (Home) Concert or doing a cover of "A Girl Like You" for Triple J Like a Version.
Lime Cordiale, will be headlining SNACK Weekender the weekend prior (February 27th and 28th) at Stadium Park. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
