INSOMNIAC ANNOUNCES NEW FESTIVALS

As the country continues to be vaccinated, more and more events are scheduling dates. Recently, Insomniac has made some huge moves. After announcing the new Abduction event in April, Insomniac announced two new events.

They first announced Lost in Dreams, a melodic dubstep, and future bass festival and record label. The Lost in Dreams Twitter tweeted, “Welcome to Lost In Dreams, the newest world within the Insomniac universe and a brand new festival with its dedicated record label focused on future bass, melodic dubstep, and vocal-driven dance music.”

Even though Insomniac CEO, Pasquale Rotella, has not released any more information about the festival, they have launched their record label. Shortly after, Insomniac East Coast announced another new festival in Florida, Factory 93. The newest Insomniac event will be held on Memorial Day weekend in Orlando and feature house and techno subgenres.

"Our mission has always been to create a home for every type of dance music fan out there while bringing quality new genres to the forefront, and we’re excited to continue that mission with Lost In Dreams, a brand new festival with its own dedicated record label, both of which will open up a new world of future bass, melodic dubstep, and vocal-driven dance music," said Rotella. "Lost In Dreams is an entirely new vision for us where the festival team and our Insomniac Music Group crew will work side-by-side to simultaneously execute the development of the festival and record label. We are thrilled to unveil the newest world within the Insomniac universe."

The last couple of weeks have been busy for Insomniac, but there is expected to be more. As events start to come back, there are many rumors about Insomniac’s plans. Some fans speculate that Insomniac will bring Beyond Wonderland to the East Coast with the launch of Insomniac East. However, Rotella has yet to address these claims.

However, it is clear that with a vaccine, the light is at the end of the tunnel.
